The Community Cup is centralized upon the popular seven-on-seven recreational soccer tournament, where teams participate with a goal to engage one another, make new friends and support each other. The one day event will also attract over 500 people with its fun – filled multicultural and community-building activities. Examples this year include:
- Live multicultural entertainment
- Community Information/Activity Center
- Soccer Skills/tricks exhibition
- Cultural Craft/Arts
- Kids Zone
The Community Zone will feature various community agencies offering services to newcomers in Hamilton. The Community Tent perfectly captures the spirit of the entire event – an opportunity for newcomer families and the integrated Hamilton community to share and connect.
